Meals from the Heartland
Ending hunger starts with one grain of hope. When you volunteer to fight hunger with us, not only are you feeding hungry children, but meal packaging is an enjoyable, easy and rewarding experience.
Meals from the Heartland’s packaged meals help feed the hungry throughout the world. Meals are delivered directly to locations in Iowa, the U.S. and around the world — wherever people are undernourished or starving.
During our 2-hour shift, we will package approximately 25,000 hearty meals. Each meal costs $.29.
Merkle Retirement Planning has already made a donation, however, any and all donations are greatly appreciated! Donations fund ingredients and materials, distribution of food around the world and ongoing operation of Meals from the Heartland. If you would like to make a donation here is a link to donate.
