Ally’s journey at Merkle Retirement Planning has set her up perfectly for her current role as COO. She has served several positions within the company, starting as a client servicing specialist before moving to the Creative Team. Along the way, she has been a part of client meetings and planned client events. These experiences and skills all come together in her current leadership role as she helps all Merkle Retirement Planning team members grow, improve, and offer the best experience possible for the individuals and families we work with.
Ally is also an amazing singer and actress, winning the Cloris Leachman Excellence in Theatre Arts award in 2019 for her role as Ella in “Ella Enchanted” at the Des Moines Playhouse. She’s also appeared in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,” “Guys and Dolls,” and several other Des Moines-area productions.
On the weekends, you can find Ally at La Mie Bakery enjoying pastries with her husband, working on a production at the Des Moines Playhouse, or snuggling with her cat. She also enjoys playing the piano, going for walks, and being in bed by 9 PM.
