A Day in Ames
Join us for a fun-filled day in Ames!
Meet us there or hop on the bus at Merkle Retirement Planning.
We will start the morning with a 10 AM guided tour of Reiman Gardens. Reiman Gardens is dedicated to sharing the beauty of plants and to the art and applied science of garden and plant cultivation – known collectively as “horticulture.” Over 6,000 types of plants are grown there; collections include the Buck Rose Collection, Viburnum Collection, Bulb Collection, Pollinator Plant Collection, and more! Please wear comfy shoes.
Around noon, we will head to downtown Ames, where you can explore on your own. There are more than 15 restaurants and 30 shopping destinations in this vibrant downtown.
Those riding the bus: we will leave from Merkle Retirement Planning at 9 AM and return around 4 PM.
If you are driving on your own: meet us at the front entrance of Reiman Gardens, we should be there by 10 AM.
